Superstar Rajinikanth landed back in Chennai early morning yesterday. Completing his London schedule well within time, Rajini took the 4.A.M. British Airways on Monday before sunrise. There is also news that he recorded an Urdu song in his own voice, and later packed his bags, back home in Chennai.
Reports suggested that the star actor was to put up in London for a couple of days more. However daughter Soundarya was quick on her heels and wrapped up things well before time. A birdie tells us, “The shoots were planned well in advance and Soundarya has successfully canned the shots earlier than expected. The Kochadaiyaan team is back in Chennai now.” Composer AR Rahman recorded a song penned by lyricst Izzat Kamil, with Rajini takin stand behind the microphone. Apparently the track is the Hindi version of the song Rahman, lyricist Vairamuthu and Rajini had recorded some time back. Rajini had no problems whatsoever, learning the Urdu lyrics, as he has rendered the piece beautifully and fluently, being a highlight of the movie. The unit did give out interviews and attended the press meet event, only after carrying out the shots in London’s world famous Pine wood Studios. Latest is that the next segment of Kochadaiyaan will be shot in the picturesque backwaters of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
