Isaipuyal A R Rahman will arrive to tickle you through the sound of music at Marina Bay Sands Grand Theater in Singapore from March 17 to 21 as scheduled. The performance will go on for 4 nights the maestro has teamed up with the renowned creative director Amy Tinkham, better known for stage collaborations with Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and Mariah Carey.
Marina Bay Sands president Thomas Arasi says, ‘Rahman has proved to the world that the Indian entertainment industry has come of age when he took home Academy and Grammy awards. We are proud to deliver what we promised the world.’
Base Entertainment Asia vice-president and managing director Milan Rokic commented, ‘We are thrilled to present A R Rahman to audiences in an intimate setting within Marina Bay Sands Grand Theater. Audiences will get up close and personal for the first time with him as opposed to experiencing his show in an arena style format in which he normally plays .This show will be a theatrical experience that will be a feast for the eyes and ears with a full cast of dancers, singers, performers and musicians.’
The whole program is a part of The A R Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour which started on June 11 2010 in New York and Rahman has only got anything but close to his fans worldwide traveling extensively via Washington, Texas, Toronto, Johannesburg, Cape Town, London, Zurich and Paris…. you name it.
Ticket for the prestigious event are priced at Singapore dollars 2,600 for 4 seats IN VIP Box; 375 for Jai Ho Seats; 265 for A Reserve; 195 for B Reserve; 145 for C Reserve and 95 for D Reserve.
What a spectacle will it be to see Rahman in Singapore that is home to many ethnic Indians majorly constituting the Tamilians. Rahman will surely enjoy a massive support without doubt.
