The actor has also been producing films from time to time to give vent to his inner desire to make films with good script.
The actor, who won the national award for ‘best actor’ for his amazing performance in director Priyadarshan’s ‘Kanjivaram’, has produced films like ‘Mozhi’, ‘Vellithirai’, ‘Abhiyum Naanum’, ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ and ‘Payanam’. Prakash Raj is now gearing up to direct a bilingual film titled ‘Dhoni’. The name Dhoni has been as famous as the Ganges itself in the cricket-crazy country. Without giving out reasons for zeroing in on the name of ‘Dhoni’ as the title(s) of both the Tamil and Telugu versions, Prakash Raj has said on his Twitter account that his next journey in films has begun in the form of ‘Dhoni’.
For the first time, Prakash Raj has signed up ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja as the music director in his film. Lyrics would be penned by Naa. Muthukumar, it is informed.
