After making his presence felt in Malayalam with the much-acclaimed Kala Pani (1996), Malayalimamanu Vanakkam (2002) and War & Love (2003), popular Tamil actor-producer Prabhu, son of legendary Tamil thespian Sivaji Ganesan, will do a cameo in Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s new film Pramani, being directed by B. Unnikrishnan. The actor was recently in Kochi for the shooting of his portions.
In this film, Mammootty plays the role of Viswanatha Paniker, a corrupt Panchayat President. Reigning Sneha is the heroine. After Thuruppu Gulan and forthcoming Vandemataram, this is the third film in which Sneha is pairing with Mammootty. She plays a Panchayat Secretary who accidentally starts playing a crucial role in the life of Viswanatha Paniker. Director Fazil’s son Fahad Fazil plays a very important role. Pramani is scheduled to release on March 19.
Sneha had earlier acted with Mammootty in the Johny Antony directed ‘Thuruppugulaan’. She is also Mammootty’s heroine in the yet to be released ‘Vande Mataram’
