Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki gets ready



Mynaa director Prabhu Solomon is coming up with his next release in Kumki.Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu is making his debut in a role of a mahout for Kumki. Produced by N. Subash Chandrabose the film also has Mynaa composer D. Imman on board.

Prabhu is confident that his son Vikram Prabhu will do well with his very first movie. He says, “Vikram was just like me but he made up his mind and lost almost 25 kgs to get into his role for the film.” The star son also took blessings from Rajini before he started the shoots for the film. Kumki has Kerala born actress Lakshmi Menon playing Vikram’s love interest in the film. The duo also shot for a song at the Jog Falls, in the Shimoga district of Karnataka earlier. Kumki’s climax shoots took place on two-acres of land, a stretched sequence where elephants rampage the spot. Vikram’s character as mahout is named Bomman and Lakshmi Menon is called Alli. The film is getting ready for a July release.
