Prabhu Solomon’s Kumki is entering the final stages. The film has Vikram Prabhu, son of actor Prabhu, in a role of a mahout. Recently Kumki producer N. Subash Chandrabose bought 2 acres of agricultural land, where the climax is to be filmed, as per his director’s suggestion.
Kerala born Lakshmi Menon marks her debut in Kumki, playing Vikram’s love interest. The lead pair have completed shooting a romantic number at the Jog Falls, in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. Director Prabhu Solomon who got a new set erected at the 2-acre land, bought exclusively for filming an elephant rampage scene, is holding on for some more time. He believes that the sets should dry up a bit in natural light, and soak up an old feel to make things look natural. His hero Vikram who took special training to control the elephants, is getting prepared for his final call of action. News is that the climax portions will commence soon, and has some thrilling scenes as the wild beasts drive into frenzy. Mynaa composer D. Imman scores the music for Kumki, partnering with the director once again. This sounds interesting!!
