Here are the exclusive details for Prabhu Deva’s upcoming dance flick. Lately the director has been winding up his Bollywood film Rowdy Rathore, and will now move on to his dream project. Prabhu’s new dance movie is titled ABCD, fully meaning ‘AnyBody Can Dance’.

“I can feel so much energy on the sets of ABCD. I feel like a teenager and it’s great to be dancing again. In fact, I feel more like a dancer working in the film than an actor”, quips Prabhu. The actor has lost a total 6kgs for the movie training with Kareena Kapoor’s personal stylist Pompi. ABCD, releasing in 3-D formats, will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures,to be directed by well known choreographer Remo D’ Souza. Talking about his new project Remo says, “ABCD is a culmination of multiple dreams actually, for I get to make a dance film and get the one and only Prabhu Deva to dance and act in it!” The film also has Ganesh Acharya and others who were adjudged winners in the popular television show Dance India Dance, showcasing talents from across the country. Arizona born Lauren Gottlieb, who won the American show “So You Think You Can Dance”, will also make a star appearance in the movie. Lauren has performed with the likes of Shakira and Mariah Carey.

ABCD will be a total family entertainer that will hit theaters late 2012.
