Pavatharini, the only daughter of ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraja, has scored music for a few films in the past. The talented Pavatharini, who has also won the coveted ‘national award for playback singing’ for her sons in the film ‘Bharathiyar’ set to score by none other than Ilaiyaraaja, returns to scoring music after a long hiatus.
Tharini had taken some worthwhile rest from scoring music for films for the past few years as she wasn’t getting the ‘desired’ opportunities in this regard. She has now agreed to compose music for an upcoming film titled ‘Azhagin Bommi’ to be produced by KVS Thiraikoodam.
The film, which would be directed by R.K. Vijayakumar, is likely to star a host of newcomers in lead roles. The odd title has surely created a buzz around the making of the film, which was launched recently in the city with the recording of a lyric penned by Jayamurasu.
The shooting will take place in and around the villages surrounding Cumbum and Theni, it is informed. Ashok would be the cinematographer, Bhuvana would take care of the art work while ‘Tiger’ Guru would be the choreographer in charge of stunt sequences.
