Actor Parthiban has said that he felt that his role in director Bharathiraja’s upcoming film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranaum (AK) is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Parthiban, whose Vithagan opposite Poorna is likely to be released in a month’s time, has been signed up to play the lead role in Bharathiraja’s AK.
Though no specific date has been given, it is understood that the film would go to the floors by the end of this month. Talking about his role in the film, Parthiban says: “I felt myself falling in love with my character in the film when Bhrathiraja explained to me in detail about the role. Easily, this is the best of all the roles I have done so far in my career.
“I feel I’m so fortunate to have been considered by Bharathiraaja to play this role. As we all know, the film is his dream project for which he has toiled a lot in making the script. The film would have Madurai as the backdrop of its script.
“I play many roles in this particular character which would catch the audience unawares. As stated earlier, I’m extremely happy and proud to be part of such a prestigious project to be directed by the senior-most director in Kollywood,” says Parthiban. The film also has Iniya of Vaagai Sooda Vaa playing a significant role.
Other details such as the technicians and the crew would be revealed later.
