Speaking about her debut venture, Nithya says, “The film is a romantic film but not the kind of usual romance that’s dished out quite often in films. The script is a complex one, featuring me as a journalist. Being a Journalism student myself, I was happy that I finally got an opportunity to play a scribe in a film!
“Though I wanted to become a journalist, I realized while pursuing the course in mass communications that life is full of surprises and one is not always able to do what he/she wants. I then enrolled for a course in cinematography at a Pune Institute where I met Nandini, who introduced me to Telugu audience with the film titled ‘Ala Modalaindi’.
“I guess I was destined to become an actress,” says Nithya with her infectious smile and adds, “The film ‘180’ has shaped up really well, thanks to amazing work by director Jayandra. We all have put in our best effort as a team and with Siddharth playing the lead, I’m sure the film would go to become a hit,” concludes Nithya.
