Sizzler Neetu Chandra has been patiently starring in the film titled Aadhi Bhagavan which pits her opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi. The film, which is being directed by Ameer, has been in the making for close to the past couple of years. In between, the actress was spotted in the ‘item number’ along with Ameer in Mysskin’s Yudhdham Sei.
The actress, who has films like Yaavarum Nalam and Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai to her credit in Tamil, is hopeful that once released, Aadhi Bhagavan has the potential not only to get her more film offers in Tamil but also to go on to rule the box-office. “The film is about to be wrapped and only a few sequences remain to be shot. I have adjusted my call-sheet dates in order to star in this film.
“I even refused the offer to star in Ajith’s Mankatha in order to act in Ameer’s film. Though I regret missing out on Ajith’s film, I’m sure Ameer has done an excellent job in Aadhi Bhagavan. I concentrate in quality rather than on quantity. Instead of doing 4-5 films in an year, I feel that it’d be better to do a couple of films in which I can concentrate hard and deliver good performances.
“I’m sure the fans and audience would agree with my views on Aadhi Bhagavan once the film releases,” says Neetu.
