Seems Nayanthara is coming back to the screens, but she will be seen more in Telugu flicks.
Interestingly Nayan, the seductress is getting roles that are quite opposite to what she has been used to in her earlier ventures.
Nayanthara, who recently stirred controversy with a role in Sri Rama Rajyam – a Telugu project opposite Balakrishna, has bagged yet another flick. This time, she will be the heroine opposite Victory Venkatesh in his movie Savitri.
The buzz is that Trisha was considered for the role, but finally Nayanthara was selected. This is the third time Nayanthara and Venkatesh are collaborating as lead pair. Prior to this, they were seen together in Lakshmi and Tulasi.
Savitri will be directed by Teja and will be produced under the banner of Suresh Productions. The movie is awaited for a January 2011 release.
As industry insiders have hinted about the cold war between Nayan and Trisha all we can say is the wind surely is blowing Nayanthara’s way for the moment.
