Film-making is more than just an art. It is also a medium to convey a lot of things and also create awareness. And, Sharadha Ramanathan is one such film-maker who puts in a lot of thought in her ventures. ‘Sringaram‘ was her first film and it won acclaim both in India and abroad at international film festivals.
Now, she is working on her second project ‘Puthiya Thiruppangal’, which is a hard-hitting movie touching on the sensitive issue of child trafficking.
The movie stars actor Nandha in the lead role and he will certainly be keen to build on that success and also showcase his potential in a meaningful film. Talented singer-cum-actress Andrea dons the role of heroine. The story goes like this: Nandha plays a city youth who wants to move to the US but life has a twist for him as his path crosses with that of Andrea, a journalist.
Sources say post-production work is almost done and the film is expected to release this summer.
