Actor Nandha’s villain act in the recently-released Vandhaan Vendraan didn’t go unnoticed at all. The media and fans of the actor are praising his acting high. Nandha tested waters with the thriller Eeram a couple of years ago by playing a negative role in the film. The film was also a turning point for actor Aadhi, who played a cop in the film.
Nandha’s Ananthapurathu Veedu, a thriller again, didn’t do any wonders at the box-office. He then opted to play the negative role and landed up the offer of Vandhaan Vendraan. Director Kannan, who has given back-to-back successful movies in Jayamkondan and Kandein Kadhalai, appears headed for a hat-trick of hits with his latest venture Vandhaan Vendraan.
He has a couple of good films to look forward to with lots of hope. One of them is Vellore Mavattam opposite Poorna while the other is Thiruppangal. “Instead of playing hero’s role time and again in commercial flicks, I’d love experiment by playing a variety of roles in future. In fact, playing a villain’s role offers an actor lot of scope to experiment and indulge in some novelty.
“In fact, I’m ready to play any kind of role and don’t want to be slotted in a particular type of character. I loved my role in Vandhaan Vendraan and am ready to play villain to any hero, established or new, if the script is a challenging,” concludes Nandha.
