Love stories always have their own audience in the Tamil film industry. One of the best director in this field is Gautham Vasudev Menon. It woud have the effect even if it is directed by someone related to him.
Close on the heels of Gautham’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’, his former associate Magizh Thirumeni’s maiden venture ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’, which hit theatres on Friday, is making waves among audience, especially youngsters.
A urban love story, the film produced by Manickam Narayanan of Seventh Channel revolves around the life of a youngster, his love experiences, his pleasures and pains.
Says the director, “Mundhinam Paartheney” is a realistic story of romance. The movie is inspired by events collected from experiences of my friends. While watching the film, fans will feel one with the characters.”
New- face Sanjay is the hero while Mumbai model Ektha has played the heroine. Vincent who was an assistant to the ace cinematographer P C Sriram has beautifully cranked the camera. And topping the charts are songs by Thaman S.
Says the producer, “We are extremely happy with the final output. Magizh Thirumeni has presented an engaging love story in a unique style. He has proved that he was an associate of Gautham Vasudev Menon, the big daddy of love stories in Tamil cinema.”
