Trisha turned 29 a couple of weeks back. The ensuing year would be quite a busy one for Trisha, whose Telugu film market hit rock-bottom in recent months thanks to the domination of heroines such as Anushka, Hansika, Kajal Aggarwal, Ileana, Tapasee and Deeksha Seth. All these heroines, who look sexier and curvaceous than Trisha, have reportedly put Trisha out of reckoning in Telugu films.
Trisha’s latest Telugu film opposite a much younger Jr. NTR is limping at the box-office at present after opening to a thunderous response some time back. As such, she is relying heavily on Kollywood to keep her going. She is now about to wrap up Samar opposite Vishal. The film, which is produced by Vishal’s brother Vikram Krishna, has the curvaceous Sunaina as the other heroine in it.
Rumours of Trisha getting married have been doing rounds for quite some time now. However, she has recently signed up two more projects in Tamil in a rather unexpected manner. She has been cast as ‘Jayam’ Ravi’s heroine in his upcoming film Boologam, a role which was to be essayed by Amala Paul. For some reasons, Amala missed the bus and the second choice as the heroine fell on Trisha’s lap.
She has also been cast as Jiiva’s heroine in his Endrendrum Punnagai which would be directed by Ahmed. Both her films opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Jiiva haven’t yet gone to floors. She also has a solitary Telugu film opposite ‘senior hero’ Ravi Teja. As such, these commitments are likely to keep her engaged at least until early next year which would mean that her marriage would only be held after she turns 30.
When asked about marriage, Trisha says smilingly, “Why should I say ‘no’ to films which are offered to me? As such, it might take an year or so roughly for me to complete all my present assignments. Let me worry about my marriage afterwards!”
