Ajith is shooting non-stop for the past few weeks for his landmark 50th film titled ‘Mankatha’ directed by Venkat Prabhu. Ajith, who had a solitary release last year in ‘Asal’, is said to be determined to deliver a hit with ‘Mangkatha’ in which he has a bevy of beauties in Trisha, Anjali and Lakshmi Rai and the ‘item girl’ Kainaat Arora from Bollywood. Obviously, he was said to be ‘upset’ when some of the film’s ‘punch dialogues’ uttered by him were leaked on the net.

The film’s shooting, which began with a stint in Malaysia and then moved on to Mumbai and Hyderabad, has finally brought the crew to Chennai where the climax is likely to be shot. Venkat was planning to shoot the action-packed climax in Madurai which has, of late, become the ‘venue’ of many action-based films full of violence and bloodshed.

Venkat reportedly had a last-minute change of heart and decided to ‘shift’ the scene of climax to Chennai as it would only be fitting in a film which has other sequences shot in metros like Mumbai and Hyderabad. Ajith’s large fan-base in Madurai was also thought of as one of the ‘impediments’ which might hamper the ‘smooth shooting process’ in and around Madurai, it is learnt.

The climax won’t be the last schedule of shooting as the crew is all set to move to Hyderabad for the next and final schedule of the film after wrapping up the climax sequence in Chennai.

Notwithstanding the change of venue for the climax, the curiosity, expectation and the hype surrounding the film appears to have only gone up!
