Not long ago, actor Madhavan remained a heartthrob to millions of girls and women as his ‘chocolate boy’ image stuck with him despite him attempting a few action flicks. Madhavan, whose last film was last year’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ in which he co-starred Kamal Haasan, Trisha and Sangeetha, turned 41 a couple of days ago.
The year started on a rather promising note for Madhavan, whose Hindi film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ opposite Kangna Ranaut turned out to be a super-duper hit. He is presently starring in the film ‘Vettai’ directed by Lingusamy which also has Aarya as his co-star. Incidentally, it was Lingusamy’s successful ‘Run’ a few years back which attempted to give Madhavan the image of an ‘action hero’.
The birth-day was a low-key celebration for Madhavan, who has stopped throwing lavish parties for the past few years. He remained at his house and had a quiet celebration with his wife Sarita and his son.
Let’s offer our belated wish to the actor and wish him a successful comeback in Tamil films with ‘Vettai’!
