Actress Keerthi Chawla has performed a sizzling ‘item number’ for AVM’s upcoming film ‘Mudhal Idam’, which stars ‘Mynaa’ fame Vidharth in the lead. Kavitha Nair would be debuting as heroine opposite Vidharth in the film, which would be the 175th film being rolled from the oldest production house in India.
Keerthi Chawla has starred as heroine in films like ‘Uliyin Osai’ and ‘Naan Avan Illai’. Despite her looks, she wasn’t getting the kind of offers that she would have been proud of. After a long hiatus, she comes back into Tamil films albeit as an ‘item’ girl in ‘Mudhal Idam’.
“Though it’s a one-song affair, the film is a significant one. I consider myself very fortunate to be starring in a film produced by the prestigious AVM banner,” says Chawla. The film also stars Devaraj, Veeramanidasan, Ponnambalam, Kishore, Ilavarasu and many others.
The film’s shooting has been held widely and extensively in and around Thanjavur. Directed by first-timer Kumara, the film is likely to release towards the end of summer.
