Kazhugu set for March 9th

The upcoming flick Kazhugu has actors Krishna Shekhar and Bindhu Madhavi donning the lead role. The film deals with suicides and accidents and revolves around a group who recover the bodies of the deceased. Said to be a comedy thriller, it’s directed by debutant Sathyasiva who has touched on a sensitive subject for his debut release.

The movie was awarded a U/A certificate by the Censor Board officials recently. Hero Krishna Shekhar is the brother of noted film director Vishnuvardhan. His latest Kazhugu is set in a hilly tourist spot. “We shot the movie under difficult conditions and I hope we would leave a mark. The shots have come out really fantastic”, says the actor. Music for Kazhugu is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the album has been received positively. The trailers too have rightfully managed to woo the viewers. The film also has actors Thambi Ramaiah and Karunas in key roles. Their roles provide assistance to Krishna, recovering the bodies of the dead ones. “Kazhugu (eagle) feeds on the dead, how it depends on someone’s death to make a living is apt for this film, hence the title.” convey the makers of the film.

The film releases at theaters near you on March 9th.
