Director Sathya Siva did make a momentous debut with his Kazhagu. The film releasing on March 16th, opened to positive reviews for the treatment of it’s subject and some wonderful music by composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Riding high on the film’s success, the director has bagged his next biggie.
“It is a dream come true moment for me to do a movie for veteran film personality Muktha Srinivasan”, says the director excitedly. The film produced by Mukta Srinivasan’s banner, is set in the backdrop of Rameswaram. This shooting spot has become a hot favorite among directors including Mani Ratnam’s Kadal and Neerparavaigal director Seenu Ramasamy . Per contra, Sathya Siva denies filming an Eelam subject for his next. He says, “While the concept is a fictitious one, the characters that feature in the film are real. However, this has nothing to do with the ‘Eelam’!” Though plans are to get in Yuvan for this one too, an official announcement regarding the same is yet in the waiting. Set in the year 2000 the movie will go floors two months from now.
