Karthi Anushka movie set stomped by elephants

Karthi Anushka movie set stomped by elephants The shoots for the upcoming Karthi-Anushka movie has been going on smoothly in the Chalakudy region of Kerala. This new movie is tentatively titled Kathiyin Kaththi with Karthi’ uncle Gnanavel Raja getting the name booked earlier. Recently the crew decided to complete one of the important sequences, well charted out by director Suraaj .

However things dint turn out as planned with the director and his unit facing troubles from the forest elephants. Just 2 days back they had set camp in a safe place and then left for the shoots. After a long day of work when they returned back to camp all that was left was visibly crushed and buried, in what appeared to be a foul play by the jumbos.  Later when a new scene was required to be shot under the moonlight it posed a major threat that needed to be taken care of. Animal lovers will know that the mighty elephants love to take a stroll in the night and that too in groups of 10-15 to get a drink by the river.  (Hey there is this scene in Mayakkam Enna , which got Dhanush the best photographer award in the end, you people saw right?) As a result producer Gnanavel has deployed 20 security guards to keep everyone protected during the night shoots. Everyone at the sets has been ordered to be on the look out, just in case they sense something fishy.

Hmm…now that’s some experience to share, aint it ?
