As reported earlier, the shooting of ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film ‘Viswaroopam’ has already started in right earnest in a huge set erected at a private engineering college on the outskirts of Chennai. The first schedule has just been wrapped and the film’s crew would now be flying off to Jordan for filming the second schedule of shooting.
The film, which was to witness Bollywood’s Sonakshi Sinha debuting as heroine opposite Kamal, only saw her walking out of it saying that her call-sheet dates had been ‘wasted’ by the long delay in launching the film. Selvaraghavan, who was to direct Kamal Haasan for the first time in ‘Viswaroopam’, walked out due to some ‘misunderstanding’ resulting in Kamal himself deciding to wield the megaphone.
This would be Kamal’s next directorial venture after ‘Hey Ram’ which released almost a decade back. The film has the leggy Anushka, the leading heroine in Kollywood and Tollywood, pairing up opposite Kamal for the first time. Amy Jackson, who impressed many with her lead role in ‘Madarasapattinam’ last year, has been roped in to play a significant role in the film.
The second schedule of shooting would take place in Jordan. Kamal, Anushka and the rest of the crew members would soon be leaving for Jordan for a lengthy schedule. It is also said that some sequences are likely to be filmed in France. Kamal has set up an exclusive team of software engineers to work for the film. As soon as the shooting for the day is over, all the sequences are edited immediately to add computer-generated graphics sequences wherever necessary.
