Arya and Vishal’s ‘Avan Ivan’ which in the making, is buzzing a lot of news.

According to reliable sources,  a VIP who is quite well-known in filmy circles for the past forty years or so is making his debut as villain in this film.

“As and when the film releases, I’m sure to get ‘noticed’ again,” claims the VIP, who is none other than VN Chidambaram Chettiyar, the owner of Kamala Cinemas in Vadapalani in Chennai!
Known for making films with substance, director Bala chose the VIP apparently due to his ‘different’ looks. and trying to wipe out the dust over the unwritten rule that a villain should fight on par with the hero and should be physically over-powering,he had already proved with Rajendran in Naan Kadavul. Even in Avan Ivan  Chidambaram Chettiyar is the villain who hardly moves from his seat and unit sources say he has reportedly delivered a stunning performance,.
It may be recalled that  Chidambaram Chettiyar had announced that five per cent of Kamala Cinemas annual income would be spent for education expenses of children of workers and he has been keeping up his promise till date.
