Cherubic beauty Samantha will be seen in yet another Gautham Menon movie. Lately there was news that she has bagged another Gautham offering titled Nithya opposite Ko-man Jeeva donning lead. Nithya has now gone under a title change as an inspired Gautham rechristened his movie as Neethaane En Ponvasantham (being inspired from the1982 film Ninaivellam Nithya). Neethaane En Ponvasantham will have favorites AR Rahman and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa trying to serve a relishing coffee-romance for the fans.
While there has been much Jeeva-talk lady Samantha seems to have taken a backseat. Samantha known for taking free Gautham Menon rides for most of her Tamil movies hasn’t enjoyed much of a rising career graph. (Samantha fans will know that it was Gautham Menon’s Ye Maaya Chesave that made those young hearts beating for more. Owing to the Samy factor director Gautham Menon again placed her in a guest appearance in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa followed by Nadunissi Naaygal). Infact last year there was also news that the actress was planning to say goodbye to movies, after her Kavery act in Moscowin Kavery failed to get the currency flowing at the theaters. But looks like she’s had a change of mind this holiday season,as she has convinced herself to move on. A smiling Samy told us, “Well I am enjoying this new found freedom and it does help in breaking away from the busy schedules I had last year. I guess it’s just a matter of time. It’s important to keep the trust going and deliver your best. You leave everything else to the one above.”
Such a sweet thought Samy, go buy some time for yourself. (Ooops ….can you do that?).
We genuinely wish you all the best for Neethaane En Ponvasantham.
