Actress Ileana is making her much-awaited comeback in Tamil films by pairing up opposite Vijay in director Shankar’s upcoming film Nanban, which is the Tamil remake of the Bollywood hit film 3 Idiots. Along with Vijay and Ileana, the film also stars Jiiva, Srikanth, Sathyaraj, S.J. Suryah and Anuya. The film has music by A.R. Rahman and is likely to be released in January next year.

Reports say that Shankar coughed up as many as Rs.1.5 crores to bring Ileana back to Tamil films. The curvaceous Ileana’s greatest strength, undoubtedly, is her hour-glass figure and her ultra-modern looks. Born and brought up in Goa, the actress is one of the top actresses in Tollywood. In fact, she debuted as an actress in the Tamil film Kedi many years back and after the film’s failure, shifted her focus to Telugu films.

Ileana is so fond of shopping that irrespective of wherever she is shooting – be it in India or abroad – she does have the habit of slipping quietly to a major textile store nearby and purchase modern and stylish clothes in large numbers. No, she doesn’t purchase all those clothes entirely for her own sake. The clothes are to be put on sale for the fashion boutique run by her mother, who is a fashion-designer by profession.

Though she is busy with her shooting schedule, Ileana never forgets to add to her mother’s existing collection of fashion clothes whenever she makes it a point to go on a shopping spree. Well, taking care of mother’s and the family’s business interest is nothing but a welcome attitude, isn’t it?
