While Yatchan is yet to receive the response of audiences, the UTV team at Mumbai has already announced its decision to remake the film in Hindi since they feel the story is universal.
“We are really happy with Yatchan, which has already got the audience excited. The story of the movie is language agnostic and it lends itself very well to other audiences across the country. Thus we are really excited about remaking it in Hindi. Currently, we are working on the plan for the remake but we are certain that we have a power packed content with us that will be loved by one and all,” read a statement from Disney India.
Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the film stars Arya, Krishna Kulasekaran, Deepa Sannidhi and Swathi Reddy in the lead roles. It is about the story of a gangster and an aspiring actor whose lives cross paths due to an interesting incident.
