Heroes wanted for Bala’s aide Ravi’s film

Director Ravi Bala

Remember Ravi, who directed a film titled Acharya a few years back? Ravi was working as an assistant director under director Bala right from the latter’s Sethu days. After directing Acharya, Ravi came to be known as ‘Acharya’ Ravi. He is now planning to make his second directorial venture.

The script of the as-yet-untitled film is reportedly set in the late seventies when the student fraternity studied 11th Standard as the final year in School; known as ‘P.U.C.’, it was their final year at the school level before migrating to colleges. Ravi’s story might revolve around the students of those days who lived in and around the Districts of Madurai, Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai.

Though Ravi is ready with the script and dialogues and has even identified the producer, he is yet to finalize the two heroes who would be playing pivotal roles in the film. As such, this has also affected the commencing of the first schedule of the film’s shot. A dejected Ravi has this to say about his search in vain to locate the heroes suitable to play the roles.

“I’ve not been able to find the heroes with the face and hairstyle suiting the period in which the film’s script is set. I tried a number of guys but my efforts so far have not yielded the desired results. That’s why I have launched an on-line hunt. Those who think they might suit my requirements might send in their details along with a photograph to aacharya.ravi@yahoo.com,” concludes Ravi.
