It’s Karthi’s birthday today (May 25, 2010)!We wish Karthi a very happy birthday and a fruitful year ahead.
The actor initially began his career in the film industry as an assistant to Mani Ratnam, worked as assistant director for Ayutha Ezhuthu and its Hindi version Yuva.
Though he was inclined towards film direction, the actor in him was raring to go. And Paruthiveeran happened where his histrionics was brought out well by director Ameer. Since then there was no looking back for Karthi. Aayirathil Oruvan and the latest, Paiyaa, cemented Karthi’s place in Kollywood. He also has several projects lined up for release.
Karthi is blessed with a tangible charm prevalent in his smile and expressions. An explosive performance in his debut through Ameer’s ‘Paruthiveeran’ showcased his skill at action, comedy and the cheeky romance with his heroine.
Though his first movie ran for almost one year, the audience had to wait for two more years to see him on screen again. A similar character if not a villager but a migrant who works in the city. Typical Tamil lingo with a flawless diction and he nonchalantly delivers abuses in ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. Flirting with two heroines, Karthi’s body language in the movie was immaculate, of course credit to the director Selvaraghavan for sketching his character.
Happy Birthday Karthi, wishing you success throughout!
