Hansika Motwani has been chosen as the ‘Dream Girl’ of Tamil cinema among the leading pack of young divas. The actress who was literally mobbed by her fans on her recent Coimbatore trip is honored to receive the prestigious award. With some big projects lined up for the year, she is keeping her head high, flying to Singapore tonight.
She will be presented with her ‘Dream Girl’ award by the Tamil association in Singapore. As news broke in, an excited Hansika says, “I was floored when the organizers told me about this award and I am really happy and glad that I have charmed the audiences last year”. Debuting in Kollywood through Dhanush’s Mappillai, she had 2 more releases playing the romantic Lolita in Engeyum Kaadhal and the biggie in Vijay’s Velayudham last year. Moving on, this young newcomer has already filled up her call sheets bagging the all important Surya flick Singham 2, playing the female gangsta in Simbu’s Vettai Mannan and then there is Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. After receiving her award in Singapore she will catch her return flight to Chennai making big plans for her OKOK audio launch event this coming Monday.
