Gujarat CM and Chandrababu Naidu Meet Rajini at Hospital

Narendra modi - Chandrababu Naidu

Narendra Modi, the high-profile BJP leader and chief minister of Gujarat, called on superstar Rajinikanth at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College hospital yesterday afternoon. Chandrababu Naidu, former Andhra Pradesh chief minister was with Modi when the latter called on Rajini.

The two leaders, who were in the city to attend the swearing-in ceremony of AIADMK leader J. Jayalalithaa as Tamil Nadu chief minister, met the star in his private room in the hospital and enquired about his health.

The ‘fit-as-a-fiddle’ Rajini has of late been keeping unwell. Last Friday’s rumours, which claimed that something ‘bad’ had happened to Rajini, shocked the star’s fans and followers and the general public who have always held that Rajini is one of the fittest and healthiest stars around.

After a couple of brief stints at the Isabel Hospital, Mylapore in the past two weeks, Rajini reportedly got himself admitted to SRMC hospital at Porur for what his family sources claimed as ‘master health check-up’. Even yesterday, the city and other parts of the State were abuzz with all sorts of rumours which disturbed the ardent Rajni fans.

Later, emerging from the hospital, Naidu said that ‘Rajini looked as active as ever and would be returning home in about 4-5 days’ time.

We too hope so!
