Genelia, the former National Footballer debuted into tamil cinemas via Shankars Boys in 2003 had gone to make it big at Bollywood,Tollywood and the kollywood.
Actor Genelia D’Souza says that her passion for football helps keep her stamina levels high .Genelia was a state level sprinter and national level football player in her school and college days, before choosing acting as her profession.
“People often ask how a Management student and a sports person like me leads the hectic life of an actor. But, sports helps me manage my schedules in Telugu,Tamil and Hindi film industries by keeping my stamina levels high,” the actor said.
“Despite being actively into sports, I did not pursue it as a profession. I did not actually chose any career, it chose me,” she added.
Genelia who debuted opposite Riteish Deshmukh in ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ in 2002, said she is not a fitness freak.
“Fitness depends on the diet and I have only home cooked food,” she added.
