Gautham Menon’s upcoming big release Neethaane En Ponvasantham will present fans with yet another breezy romance. The director who gave us hits like Vaaranam Aayiram and the very recent Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa has been shooting for the movie in three different languages hand-in-hand.Neethaane En Ponvasantham will be a trilingual with very cute Samantha playing a psychological student named Nithya as she has bagged the heroine’s seat in all three languages (i.e. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.)
The lead hero spot was allotted to 3 different actors in all three languages with the Tamil one landing in happening star Jeeva’s bag, as he plays a 21 year old engineering student who falls for psycho Samy. Hero Ram was selected for the Telugu version while one Aditya Roy Kapoor was chosen for the Bollywood version. The director had indicated that he would be progressing with the shoots according to the standing ranks of his heroes in the industry. But sadly it resulted in some feeling insulted while others are more than happy to be part of the project. The said Telugu hero Ram who recently enjoyed massive success with Kandireega in Andhra nation decided to walk out of the project as he was kept waiting for a long time. The impatient actor had been part of the movie only for 10 days before he announced his departure. Ram said that he “dint want to waste precious time” as he is certain of finding greener pastures.
It is heard that Gautham is planning to shoot the rest of the Telugu parts with hero Jeeva himself who too enjoyed a great run with his Rangam and big-hit KO in Andhra. Let’s see how this story unfolds.
