QT pie Samantha Ruth Prabhu has bagged it once again. After launching herself playing Jessie in the Telugu version of VTV, a cameo appearance in Nadunisi Naaygal and the triple lead in Gautham’s forthcoming trilingual Neethane En Ponvasantham, Samy gladly tags along for another Gautham Menon movie in Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu.
For the first time in Gautham’s career, he’s got the opportunity to work with ‘Isaignani’ Ilaiyaraaja, who scores the music for his Telugu-Hindi bilingual Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu. The director says, “I’m going to live a dream. Make a dream come alive. It’s the experience of a life time with raja sir.” Infact has already been handed the first song for the film, following which he thanked the composer wholeheartedly. Gautham’s favorite actress Samantha will once again make a foray into Bollywood with this release, getting to act in the Hindi version too, actor Nani playing the opposite lead. Samantha’s Nee Thane En Ponvasantham alongside Jeeva, directed by Gautham, had to halt the shoots recently due to the FEFSI-Producer council standoff. The director has promised to get NEP released in Tamil,Telugu and Hindi marking Samy’s debut in Bollywood. Samantha has also got Mani Ratnam’s prestigious offering Kadal in her kitty, scoring a double whammy. Gautham’s latest Yeto Velli Poyindhi Manasu, will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner, with cameraman M. S. Prabhu handling cinematography and Ilaiyaraaja scoring the music. The director is busy promoting his Ek Deewana Tha (Hindi VTV) up Bollywood, releasing this February 17th.
