Not often you come across a person whose beauty matches his/her brains; it is exactly the case with Shruti Haasan, the stunner and the multi-faced actress who dances like an angel, sings beautifully, pens lyrics and composes music besides her well-known acting prowess!
Shruti’s latest Telugu film Kattamarayudu (remake of Tamil hit film Veeram) has been declared as a super-hit. Pawan Kalyan had reprised Ajith’s role in the Telugu version. She has taken up the role of a princess in Sundar C’s mangnum opus Sanghamitra which is to be made as a bilingual.
“I’m a highly positive minded girl and I fear nothing and nobody. If someone says I can’t do or accomplish a particular thing, I won’t rest till I complete it and prove myself. This has been my trait right from childhood. I’m supremely confident of my abilities. I’m not saying this because of my status of a frontline actress; by nature, I’m made like that.
“In fact, I didn’t have any fears about my future in the (entertainment) industry some years back when I debuted and when my first few films didn’t do well in theatres. I never had any doubts about whether I’d be able to take up a particular role and do justice to it. Hard-work always pays irrespective one’s profession. I have learnt quite a lot of things thanks to films and working hard is the most precious thing,” she says.
