Eesal director's Guinness attempt: 24 Languages Song
Director Vijay Adhitya and Parthiban

Debutant director Vijay Aadithya, who had earlier worked as an assistant director under Sasi of ‘Poo’ fame, turns director himself with the Tamil movie Eesal. The film, basically a thriller involving ‘living’ and ‘dead’ spirits, is not the regular kind of thriller movies that emerge out of tinsel town every now and then.

A world record of so far unheard of and un-thought of nature has been attempted by the director in his debut film. The film is to feature a patriotic song which would be composed in 24 different languages and sung by 24 singers.

Aadithya says that the song under reference contains words from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Gujarat, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Oriya and many other languages and was penned by ‘Maas’ Venkat and Roy.

Actor-director Parthiban has sung the Malayalam verses of the song while Malayalam superstar Suresh Gopi has sung the Tamil verses of the song.

Director Vijay Aadithya claims that such a song had never been attempted and says that it would an unique song in the history of not only Tamil films but also in Indian cinema. The director, who has sent the details of the composing the song to the Guinness Book of World Records, is hopeful that the song would find a place in the prestigious book.

The film stars Mithun and Sunulakshmi as the lead pair.
