Overnight Kolaveri sensation Dhanush has taken a different route to get his spiritual self back on track. Away from the buzzing crowds, Dhanush headed to the holy land of Varanasi which holds special reverence for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. The actor tells us that that he always wanted to make a visit and was excited in finally doing so.
Being considered among the most sacred places in India, Varansi witnesses thousands of pilgrims visiting the banks of the Ganges daily. They take dips in the river to wash away their sins and pour away the ashes of cremated ancestors to free the souls within .The scene at the nearby Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a divine one, watching people offer their prayers to the holy. Dhanush who took the dip at the Ganges and later did an aarti at the temple says, “Varanasi was beautiful and Kasi Vishwanath aarti was such an amazing experience. I felt the presence of a great energy around. The divinity brought tears out of my eyes. God bless”
It’s back to the 3 promotions for Dhanush after his moving Varanasi trip.
