After Siruthai and Venghai which released this year, Tamannaah went to Tollywood to fulfill her commitments. Though she doesn’t have a single Tamil film on hand at present, she has a handful of Telugu films which keeps her engaged. In fact, she has as many as 5 Telugu films in her kitty including Rachcha opposite young gun Ram Charan Teja.

During the break in the shooting of Rachcha whose shooting was held near the holy hills of Tirupati, Tamannaah and Teja went to Tirupathi and stood in the VIP queue for darshan of the deity. Usually, the Devasthanam officials don’t allow women and girls clad in jeans to enter the premises for darshan of the Lord. Tamannaah was, however, exempted from the rule and allowed to have darshan.

This irked the devotees, many of whom were the actress fans, who protested the officials’ attitude and openly aired their views. They objected to Tamannaah’s glamourous attire while visiting the Temple which is thronged by lakhs and lakhs of devotees. Tamannaah left in a hurry after darshan of the Lord Venkateswara. Meanwhile, Teja couldn’t hold his balance as fans jostled to have a look at him and in the process fell to the ground.

The police rescued Teja and sent him off safely.
