She has her hands full handling the media and replying to the presspersons’ constant queries about the ups and downs in their on-again in her relationship with Prabhudeva and about their impending marriage. Actress Nayantara finds herself at the crossroads of her life as she appears to be in a dilemma to decide as to whether or not continue to act in films or not after her marriage.
The fact that her la(te)st Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam has been doing very well at the box-office gives her a reason to smile about. Nayantara has played Sita, Lord Rama’s wife, in the film. Not many actresses get to play Sita, revered by many women as the epitome of womanhood, in their entire careers. Nayan considers she is very lucky to have had the opportunity to be playing Sita.
Of late, though, she feels that her accounts on some social networking sites are being ‘hawked’ by those with vested interests. It is said that some comments about the raging topic of Mullai Periyar dam and about the banned film Dam 999, which were not penned by her, seem to be appearing in her name.
Nayan is at pains to explain that she feels helpless when such hawking occurs. “Fake identity is created in my name and even replies to my fans are being mailed by somebody. I, therefore, request my fans not to be fooled by continuing to interact with those ‘fake’ identities,” the actress has said in a statement.
