Nayanthara is back. After the painful break-up with Prabhudeva, the actress has decided to bury the past (especially the phase of her life when she was on ‘Cloud Nine’ in Prabhudeva’s company) and concentrate once again on her career as an actress. Last year, she announced that her Telugu film Sri Rama Rajyam would be her last film as an actress as she would be marrying Prabhudeva and settling into matrimonial life.
On a comeback trail, she has landed up a few important films in her kitty in both Tamil and Telugu. She shot for her first sequence in the past six-seven months when she starred in the initial sequence that was shot recently for the Telugu film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum opposite Rana Daggubati.
As it would have, the initial sequence was a mighty romantic one. Nayan and Rana starred in the sequence directed by Krish of Vaanam fame. The sequence was shot at in a studio inside the Ramojirao Film City in Hyderabad. She is likely to shoot for the film on a non-stop schedule of 30 days.
She is also likely to pair up opposite Ajith in a mega-budget film planned by producer A.M. Rathnam which would be directed by Visnhuvardhan, who had earlier directed her in Billa in 2007. Commenting on her comeback, Nayan said, “I’m enjoying each and every moment of it; I hope the second innings turns out more successful than the first innings!”
