The police have reportedly launched a massive man-hunt to trace DMK M.P. and actor J.K. Rithesh inthe coastal villages along the Southern coast in connection with the abduction of a DMK activist Kathiravan belonging to Ramanathapuram. The police have filed cases against Riteish and 13 others in connection with the abduction of Kathiravan.

A special police team comprising police officials from Madurai District reached Ramanathapuram for search operations while another team was dispatched to Kerala to trace the ‘missing’ M.P. and his supporters. The police have reported been informed by some ‘source’ that Riteish could be in hiding in and around Ramanathapuram locality where he has many relatives and friends.

The police are conduction search and combing operations along the coastal villages in Ramanathapuram District, it is reported. When contacted, it was found that Riteish’s mobile phone had been ‘switched off’. It is also said that Riteish is in touch with people known to him through slips or small pieces of paper where his wants are written in coded language.

Following this piece of information the police are reportedly watching from close quarters those who are said to be ‘close’ to the actor-turned-parliamentarian.
