The film Kadhal Pisase marked the directorial debut of Aravind in Kollywood. He also had the hero’s spot all for himself, trying to make a real impact with the action thriller. Releasing on March 23rd at the halls, the cold response for the film has come as a disheartening one for Aravind and his team.
The actor/director was hopeful before release saying, “From a young age, I have directed and acted in plays and watched as many films as I could. I learnt the nuances of filmmaking and acting at the Toronto film school.” Kadhal Pisase’s is about the youth going astray, not finding ways to make ends meet. Things dint click well with fans as the protagonist played by Aravind wants to achieve a lot in life but takes up weapons, tormented and dejected. Ladies Midhuna and Anitha Reddy did have their share of glamour. The movie ended with a lot of gory scenes, which were not welcome either. Produced by Dream Art Creations, the story, screenplay and dialogues were scripted by S. Thangavel. Music for the film is scored by Sabesh Murali. The only attraction was some comedy portions by actor Santhanam, in the said action thriller. Well, better luck next time Aravind 🙂
