Remember Anuja Iyer, the lanky heroine who has starred in films like Kamal Haasan’s ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ as a media-person and in ‘Ninaithalae Inikkum’ as a love-struck girl. The slimly built Anuja has now played the second heroine opposite actor Aarya’s younger sibling in ‘Kaadhal to Kalyanam’ and is eagerly awaiting the release of the film.
Her immediate cause for excitement, though, is the multi-starrer dance number she has performed in K.V. Anand’s upcoming film ‘Ko’ which stars Jiiva and Karthika in lead roles. She says that the song stars as many as 25 leading stars of the Tamil film industry and adds that she is very proud to be part of the song, which is a ‘rarity’ in Tamil films.
Suriya and Tamannaah are also part of the song, she reveals and doesn’t think that it was a ‘mistake’ on her part to be appearing in a multi-starrer song in only her 3rd or 4th film. “It’s a funny, enjoyable song. Where else would I get the opportunity to share screen-space with as many as 25 of the leading stars of Kollywood? It was a fabulous experience for me,” she gushes.
She links the song to the hugely popular ‘Om Shanti Om’ number from the Bollywood hit film Om Shanti Om and says that the song would be quite a rage among youths and movie-goers.
