Amitabh Bachchan to play Prakashraj’s role in ‘KO’ Hindi version?

Critics and movie-goers are unanimous in their view that one of the strong points of the film Ko, which released early last year and became one of the super-duper hits of the year, was actor Prakashraj’s portrayal of his role of the chief minister. Now that the film is going to be made in Hindi, titled as ‘Satyagraha’. Rumours emanating from Mumbai say that Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan might play the role of ‘chief minister’ in the Hindi version.

The Hindi version of the film would be directed by popular Bollywood film-maker Prakash Jha. The moment Jha watched the Tamil version, he had reportedly decided that he would cast nobody but the Big B in the role essayed with aplomb by Prakashraj.

The work on the Hindi version is likely to star rolling sometime this month. Jha is also likely to remake K.V. Anand’s Suriya-starrer Ayan with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. This project might start early next year, is it informed.

The male and female lead besides other actors and technicians to work in the Hindi version of Ko are likely to be finalized in the coming days.
