The flick Singam 2, will spin off from where Singam ended, starring Surya and the gorgeous looking Anushka Shetty. This sequel will be directed by Director Hari and will go on floors once Surya completes his Maatraan project with director K V Anand, which is progressing smoothly as of now. On the other hand, heroine Amala Paul is currently busy shooting for Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal in Las Vegas with co-actor Atharava. We are told that Singam 2 director Hari had already sketched out the character for his female lead and when he thought over it he found that Amala would suit his interests best. Hari then asked Vettai director Linguswamy to show him some of the freshly canned Vettai scenes starring Amala. Following which he was pretty assured that the young face will do the trick just fine.
