Locking lips on screen with the co-star isn’t something many Tamil actresses have ventured out to do daringly in the past. There have been smooches of the lesser order, which have remained far below the amount of intimacy witnessed in Bollywood films for a long time now. Of late, though, the entry of some new actress in Anjali and Amala Paul appears to have altered the scenario.
While Anjali is said to have locked lips (for the first time in her career) with co-star Aarya in the upcoming Settai, Amala Paul’s scorching on-screen lip-lock with Allu Arjun for her upcoming Telugu film Iddarammayilatho. Amala, who has been taking rapid strides in both Kollywood and Tollywood, has a few films lined up opposite leading heroes in both these languages.
Tollywood has been abuzz with the said lip-lock filmed recently between Amala and Allu arjun . The film is being directed by popular film-maker Puri Jagannath and it is also Amala’s first film opposite Allu Arjun. It so happened that during an intense romantic sequences, Puri proposed the idea of a long lip-lock between the lead pair in order to stress on the significance of their togetherness (in the film, of course!).
After Amala and Allu agreed to the sequence, a ‘hot one’ by Tollywood standards, it was shot not in India but in Spain. In order to make both Amala and Allu feel ‘absolutely comfortable’ prior to shooting the sequence, Puri made both of them chat with each other for a long time. Unit sources say that the minute-long lip-lock could very well turn out to be the high point of the film as and when it releases!
It may be recalled that Amala Paul had already involved in a lip-lock with Aarya in the Tamil hit film Vettai.
