It is a well known fact that actor Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Mankatha’ would also be his landmark 50th film in a career spanning more than fifteen years in Kollywood. Despite the many problems in his body thanks to some accidents the actor has shown tremendous grit and determination to overcome them and stay afloat in the cut-throat competitive world of films.
Not many have paid attention to the significant fat that actor Ajit’s 50th film would also be actress Trisha’s 40th film. The actress, who has been around for close to a decade now, has completed 39 films so far in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Incidentally, this would be Trisha’s third film opposite Ajith after ‘Ji’ and ‘Kireedom’.
Trisha, besides sharing this trivia, won’t reveal anything about the movie as she is under instructions from the director to keep mum. “It is a strict instruction by director Venkat Prabhu that none of us should share any details about ‘Mankatha’ with the media. I, therefore, have no option but to keep mum for the present,” says Trisha.
Trisha, however, says that, “Mankatha is a boys’ flick. I don’t have a significant role like it was in ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ or ‘Manmadhan Ambu’. I do have a part to play and guess I have done justice to whatever has been given to me!”
