Actor Adhi has been working round-the-clock for the past few months for his upcoming film Aravaan directed by Vasanathabalan. The bespectacled director, who earned the wholesome appreciation of the print and television media as well as the movie-goers with his soul-stirring directorial venture Angaadi Theru last year, is presently making Aravaan whose script is set a few centuries back.
The committed actor that he is, Adhi reveals that he has undergone ‘tremendous change’ in his natural appearance to suit his character in the film. Adhi made a promising debut as a rugged youth in director Sami’s Mirugam a few years back. Though he has starred in a few movies afterwards, nothing made him popular other than Shankar’s home production Eeram directed by Arivazhagan.
As such, Adhi looks forward with lot of hope to the release of Aravaan to resurrect his career. The film, the shooting of which has just been wrapped up, would soon have its dubbing session starting. Vasanthabalan is said to be planning a grand audio launch some time next month.
“I have undergone tremendous change for my role in the film. I have put in a lot of hard work for the past one-and-a-half years and hope it clicks in a big way. The film would be a big turning point in my career,” says Adhi.
