Actor Feroz Khan, who played a significant role in last year’s ‘Thambi Arjuna’, is turning director. The actor’s debutant directorial venture has been titled ‘Paasakkara Nanbargal’ and is billed as the first-ever ‘full-fledged’ Tamil film on the martial art of ‘kick-boxing’.

Khan is also launching his baby-faced 15- year old son (aged enough to play the hero?) Ajmal Khan as the hero in the film. Feroz says his son is competent enough to play the lead role in the film as he holds a ‘black belt’ in the martial art form of ‘Karate’.
Divya, who has starred in many films as a child-artiste, makes the grade as heroine and debuts in the lead role opposite Ajmal. The script has been set in the backdrop of a school and would revolve around an aspiring student in kick-boxing (who else but Ajmal?) who wants to make it big in the international arena and bring laurels to the country.
How he achieves it against the many odds is what the story is all about, says Feroz. He recalls how the thrilling climax sequence was recently shot at a popular stadium in Bangalore with many thousands of people watching it as if it was a ‘live’ match. Feroz has also played Ajmal’s coach in the film, which has music by Dhina.
Watch out for ‘Paasakkara….’ during summer holidays!
