Shooting for Maranthen Mannithen, actor Aadhi was rushed to a hospital recently. The actor who has signed up for a string of projects post Aravaan, joined the sets returning from his Kochadaaiyaan London shoots. It was a bit of stomach trouble that triggered of unbearable pain, later needing serious medical attention, filming for his Maranthen Mannithen.
Undergoing the required tests immediately, doctors told him he was a victim of food poisoning. Consuming unhealthy stuff during the shoots had toxins forming in his body, which left the actor weak. Aadhi did play it brave, ignoring the initial warnings until things went out of hand this time. The actor is working under the direction of Kumar Nagendra for Maranthen Mannithen, stepping in after receiving tremendous response for Aravaan, shot in the neighboring forest areas. Maranthen Mannithen is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual based on the1986 floods that swept away the Godavari districts. Set for this June the movie has Lakshmi Manchu, Aadhi and Taapsee Pannu playing top roles. The Maranthen Mannithen team is a worried lot, with the unexpected illness befalling their hero.
